Inside the IONIQ, the weight of interior plastics has been reduced by
approximately 20% through the use of a material made of recycled plastic
combined with powdered wood and volcanic stone. SE models feature a black cloth seat trim,
while Premium and Premium SE offer black leather seat facings.
The compact electric motor works with the petrol engine to improve fuel economy
and lower CO2 emissions. They also combine to maximise acceleration when required.
ECO and SPORT drive modes
While the Eco mode maximises fuel efficiency, the Sport mode engages operating parameters that modify gear shifting, acceleration, steering feel and digital instruments for a more rewarding driving experience.
The maximum torque of the electric motor is available from start-up, resulting in impressive acceleration especially at low speeds.
Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT)
